It's not the ordinary public I am concerned about Eric.

You are giving it the "Trust the IT department" on this. Maybe an important message to deliver to the general public if you are in the IT business, but otherwise meaningless.

Trust in the IT department itself is really where it's at. I think trust can be increased by unrestricted access to what is going on, like open source code for example. All the procedures need to be open to checking.

Some tekkie saying "trust me on this" isn't the same thing.

So, the fact that there are active campaigns by influential people to stop people from making enquiries and asking questions is a bad sign for me. A real bad sign.

Progress is being made I last heard, but your dismissal of any concern is unwarranted.
