Jan,

I think your prediction about options effect came true. This can
be due to expectations too. One has to look at the options volume
the last half hour. Did the size of the trades match those of the
underlying? While there are many options expiration strategies, it
appears that buying options and selling the stock (short?) is
consistent with what happened on Friday. I look for the stock to
rebound strongly Monday morning.
