I assumed they mean the mclaren Speedtail which I think has SPD on the tops of the side windows

Joe said that the Asian car was sunroof only. I think that's the first step for many OEMs. Look at the BMW IVision and you will see what is in the future --- HUD, augmented reality, headlight configurations and side windows (although the side windows look more like PDLC than SPD.

All the 2023 cars do not have any other SPD application than the roof. The McLaren window shield and side windows I'm assuming our fixed tint, which is great so you don't have to keep moving your visor to block glare when you turn right or left into bright sun. Also I think Gauzy and/or REFR and McLaren would highlight it.

Thought about SPD side windows again as the filing indicated Gauzy had contracts for this with an OEM in 2023, my guess is it for one of the 2023 OEMs but not for current models shown.

And I could be wrong about McLaren. Hope so.
