Why renewable energy interest in Africa will be revived to Africa:

1) Trump is scared renewable energy investors
2) Europeans will become dependent on the US for its oil and gas and need to find, fast, alternative sources.

Concerning nr. 1.
It was New green deals that stopped the renewable energy inroads in Africa. The players left to the sweet subdidies provided by the Europeans and Biden adminstration.

Donald Trump’s election victory sparked a solar and wind sell-off. Even as the broader market rallied to record highs on Wednesday, with stocks having their best day since 2022, investors fled renewables after America picked the “ drill, baby, drill” candidate. But while many see Trump as a scourge for clean energy, some analysts believe the market has overreacted—and that quality stocks in the sector can be had at a bargain.

Concerning Nr. 2
After a series of misteps Europe s now dependent on US oil and gas. Now it dawned on them that the search for alternative is here to stay.
Trump will be using the oil weapon the same way the OPEC used.
