Bill,
The border needs to be closed, and nothing in the "border bill" does that.
No, the border does NOT need to be closed.

I've always argued for legal immigration. I've always argued that we need to get a handle on it.

Here comes a bill that takes a significant step toward controlling it, and you oppose it because you are an extremist. Either close it all the way, or leave it wide open so that you can blame the "other side" for it.

"The border needs to be closed,........."

The East Germans, make that the Ruskies, tried that with barbed wire and machine gun towers.

It slowed it down dramatically but humans are ever resourced and determined will always find a way.

Same thing with drugs, gambling, bribery, fraud and getting ones rocks off, etc.

Politicians, which the new/old guy who will be back in come January is the best of the bunch selling the sheeple I will get it done, trust me. Mexico: "the check is in the mail".
