Elon Musk has got a good record on Advanced Space Rocketry, NASA not so much. I was out skiing when Challenger happened, and I remember the tadoo the world had getting to the truth on that one. It took an extraordinary skilled Physicist to get to the crux of the matter. He had to muddle through a lot of BS, denial, snooty bureaucrats who thought they knew best, lies, and suppressed whistle blowers before the actual problem revealed itself in stark obvious reality. What has changed today? We have funded & extended departments of people looking for a reason to exist, and managed by the UN and Bezos, besides NASA. All with pretty and tekky looking picture shows for people who have little or no training in real science or problem solving. I am concerned already.
