Ramsey,

I do not have any contacts with active participants in the MSC so its hard for me to comment. The main newspaper here, The Straights Times, is virtually a state organ with everyday bringing nothing but the best possible spin on things and big bold pictures of Mahatir doing this or that. From this source all is well with the MSC and the actual infrastructure work is ahead of schedule. But nothing here happens on time so I do not believe it. I can't even get a decent phone line connection to an ISP or count on regular electric supply. The roads in most places are a shambles, especially if that place is primarily populated by the Malaysian-Chinese. I once saw a copy of an MSC presentation, designed to attract off shore investors. The effort was sophomoric that it was laughable. Admittedly it was 2 years ago and perhaps they have matured a bit but...well.

Sorry I can't help. The MSC is sort out of my frame of view. I am much more excited about the continued developments in Perak state of Kulim Industrial Zone. On the MSC we will just have to wait and see.

Best,
Stitch
