Juicy comments - Maude Barlow and the "Council of Canadians" - if you take their comments and substitute for "multi-national corporations" the word "Jews", you would be charged, convicted, and hung forthwith for the promulgation of hatred. Yes - politics is universal, like death and taxes.

The central question with Steppe is, imho - Will the Kazakhs learn to keep their word?

... before they suck yet another Little Canadian Company down the drain that consumed CGZ and a variety of others, I mean.

Sorry if that's harsh, but it was pretty friggin harsh for the Little Canadian Companies, too.

back much later .......... cheers ............ marcos

From what I have seen and read so far I believe the K.. government
is very sharp and (clever) and know when and where to cross the T's
and dot the I's. Perhaps the upsurge in the economy will relieve the
home pressure sufficiently so that they may begin to deal in a more
froward manner. How will you feel if after having spent all the
standard banks money they decide the agreement with you is no longer
acceptable and they need a lot more for the pension funds. They can't
lose the way I see it they keep your money and the resources. This is
what they have done with CGZ and KGFC.s expenditures.
Confiscated them for the sake of satisfying their pension funds as I
see it.
