Howdy Guys My wife is an independent but suffers DTS pretty bad, and voted for Commiela. As such I decided to take a trip to Peru for two weeks and not be around her for the election night, and a few days after while she cools down. She is not particularly a lib, we agreed on pretty much all the CA ballot props. I came on my own for a couple days to acclimate to the elevation in Pisac at 9000 ft. I am joining a tour which starts later today in Cusco (elev 11300 ft.). I visited the Pisac ruins yesterday at elev 11500. You can take a taxi up to the entrance and then hike back down - way cool! But I was quickly out of breath most every uphill section. Pisac ruins are massive, 3X the size of Machu Picchu. Hope to visit Sacsayhuaman later today or tomorrow. This place is considered a "smoking gun" for the existence of Ancient Aliens, or the existence of an advanced civilization of humans in pre-recorded time. Whichever side of that debate you are on. BTW the series "Ancient Apocalypse" on Netflix covers Sacsayhuaman in their recently released season 2. When I woke up Wed AM and heard the news of Trumps win, it was quite cathartic. I wonder what happened to those 15 million Dem voters who put Biden into office, but disappeared in 2024? Maybe died from Covid vax ?
