Problem with rcv is I thing if begich doesn't get 50% then they have to have another round?

Actually the problem is deeper than that especially in the primaries

the dims basically choose Murkowski for the Sanate. The mass of reps voted against her. In really red areas it allows the minority to choose rinos or libs running as reps

If begich doesn't get 50%, then they start counting 2nd place votes.
Someone else might take the lead based on 2nd place votes.
If no one gets 50% with 1st and 2nd place votes counted, then they count 3rd place votes.
Etc.
