It means that in the months that followed a day happened when I did absolutely no actual work, the following day I left the company following the directions of Human Resources. A few years later I did seek a job and found one working for Gary doing some electrical and structural drawings. There was a person there named Matt who said he was God and kept some of my work for himself that he did not do well and got upset at the detail drawing that I did as taught at technical school. Work slowed down and when there was no work I told Gary not to lay me off, as the seasons rolled by tax season was coming and I felt the need message him and say, "If I am an employee I'd like a T4, if I am not an employee I'd like a Record of Employment" and he promptly sent a Record of Employment to me. That was a few years before I worked at Safeway for six months, again thank you to Sharon who told me "You can call me whatever you want". I left that job after she said "It won't go to two" and heard "You got that right" by notifying a floor manager and a co-worker of the next shift I was scheduled to work that needed to be covered. Now instead of putting food on shelves I put food on plates that I put on the table, because a person has to eat.
