They do continue to work on it, but the fact is settled. Man is causing the earth to warm, fast! They will work on the refining it forever. But they know what is happening and why. They are fucking scientists (lol), that is what they do, and they are shit ass smart, and hard workers and careful. And they say it is settled science and we need to address it!! 10's of thousands of scientists around the world are studying it! And they all say the same thing! < And the world's scientists say it is settled. No they don't. Politicians say that. Real scientists keep researching and testing their hypotheses.
