As a citizen through being a legal immigrant, US policies of just giving citizenship to illegals greatly irritate me. However, this was a matter of US policy of importing cheap labor to do service jobs no American will agree to do. The issue now is that the pay for American jobs dropped so far these cheap labor jobs are no longer undesirable for blue collar Americans, and minimum wage jobs have comparable pay. I have a contractor servicing my home, and jobs that used to be done by black Americans are now done by Mexican immigrants speaking Spanglish. The service quality dropped hard. Plumbing.
