What he says and what he does are hit and miss.
Each deportation will cost about $12,000 - perhaps more.
5% of the USA workforce are undocumented immigrants
They pay about 95 billion in taxes
Of course these people will have to be detained and housed before being removed - private companies are fighting for a piece of that.
There needs to be arrangements with countries these people will be shipped to.
There is the talk of witch hunts
Removing employment rights
Dismantling health care
Pardons
Rewarding criminals
Leaving NATO
Interfering with the FED
Interfering with news outlets
Tariffs
Dismantling EPA
Heating up the economy more than it is at present more than likely will mean hirer prices and inflation -
The template is there - how bad it gets depends on who has his ear at that moment.

Deportations - tossing out convicted criminals might be a good start , but even that has grey areas.

Causing recession or even worse was one of my scenarios also. In the past he wanted lower interest rates because it is easier to service private and gum'mnt debt. There are five things I'm certain he will do, and the R. Congress will back him up. 1) increase military spending, 2) tax cuts for the wealthy, 3) deregulate, 4) hamstring government watchdog agencies, and 5) funnel government money into his enterprises.
