As far as I understand it, your supposition is completely wrong! And you sort of contradict yourself by agreeing with me to start? You cannot have it both ways in the real world! haha.

Reread what I said about the pollsters, you really don't think there was a biased and polluted groupthink there that leaned left to far left? If this is the same WSJ article I'm thinking of, it was later to be revealed not relevant, those multiple accounts (all on Polymarket) as reported were a single source known to be a big crypto bettor. There are many other betting markets and all weren't always perfectly aligned.

You either believe in the wisdom of crowds, market pricing and discovery. Or you don't. So which is it?

There was also the superfluous notion that the polymarket bets were trying to manipulate DJT stock? OK. So now what? The presidential election is over. DJT is a turd stock that can fail on its own given current structure. Next!

Meant to add this to my original reply but somehow lost the typed text. In the old days, journalism was a trade and not a profession. It was blue collar like a carpenter, electrician, and plumber, etc. Somehow over just a few generations journalism went from being a trade to an elite profession. And would you be shocked to learn these new "journalists" often attend the same schools, and have the same friends that often become bureaucrats in D.C. and elsewhere and continue the club. That is being in the same clique, the same tribe.

American journalism started out as simple laymen printers and pamphleteers. Now you have a collectivist media all preaching from the same script. Matt Taibbi, Glenn Greenwald, and Micheal Shellenberger are all critically thinking, now independent journalists that have noted the degradation of journalism this century. The left used to love them and have since ostracized them. Care to guess why? It's not because they lied about anything!

Don't you think a lot plumbers need to clean up the sh!t now called mainstream news?
