Yes, I am half blind and pretty sick overall, and Trump will make it much harder for people like me to apply for disability when inevitably a recession hits. I will be left to go fully blind and die off because of his policies. As a leftie I support policies that don’t leave the poor the old and the sick to take care of themselves. What happens to poor people when recession hits? Do they collect welfare? Nope, they go off health insurance and die. I have a disease that will make me fully blind without a job that covers health insurance because the cost of keeping my vision without insurance is prohibitively high.

Going low central vision like 20/70 best corrected means you can’t read or drive but you don’t automatically qualify because 20/200 best corrected visual acuity is required. With 20/70 BCVA I won’t even be able to apply for disability on my own. Currently I can read and drive but I am 6 years away from early retirement, more than enough time to die off.

I am not responsible for the disease similar to wet macular degeneration which is genetic in my case and affects both eyes not equally. I am a one eye reader and driver. The other eye shot down to 20/400 best corrected visual acuity, would be fully legally blind. To explain clearly, when I extend my hand and hold 2 fingers the bad eye can’t distinguish them. Treatment brought the bad eye back to 20/100 best corrected,
still not enough to qualify for legal blindness but more than enough to not be able to work.

My good eye is 20/30 best corrected, and the good eye defines visual acuity, and I am able to read and drive,
except driving at night is pretty dangerous (the threshold for them giving me day only license is 20/40 BCVA, for them taking the license away is 20/70 BCVA. Thus I am not disabled or blind but I am well aware of what it’s like. I was told I can apply with 20/70 BCVA, but will need a lawyer.

So yes, I support Harris. In addition, the KGB killed by grandfather in 1937-1938 NKVD purges. I had an exit interview in Soviet Union with the KGB officer, and when my dad passed away from a heart attack in USA I sent his body back to Russia to be buried with my mom. It was in 2003. So a KGB man came from an embassy in Washington DC to assist me. It’s never a pleasant experience to deal with them. I gave up my Russian citizenship, so I am officially a foreign spy to be executed if I ever visit. I don’t think Russia stopped
counting me as a citizen -g-

So yeah I am a Putin hater Kamala supporter. I am very anti war, so I don’t support the war in the Middle East or in Ukraine or elsewhere. That also comes from Christianity. I support the Ukrainians more than I support the Russians, but I simply want that conflict to end, as the risk of missile hitting us is high.

Being in special nuclear forces and having a clearance in Russia made it very hard to leave, but the collapsing soviet state (I left 5 days before Yeltsyn declared himself President and there was a 1991 coup with tanks in Moscow) sure helped -g-
