James, our first kahunatic calling the peak contest was back in July of last year and the winner was purportedly to get a PBJ. (Peanut butter and jelly)

Yes I have in mind the USD. Competing currency devaluations are like your co-worker bringing the Asian flu to the office. First one gets it then another, pretty soon the whole office is coughing sneezing and calling in sick.

You can't have a stable world financial system, with this kind of fluxuation and the ability for each country to print and value their own currency at will. When you get a whole region doing this it has a disasterous effect on the world trade balance, which doesn't show up for months down the line - say 2nd or 3rd quarter?

(Please forgive me -g-, I just got back from the movie the Titanic -g-)

This market is the "market that God can't even sink" and legendary Captain Greenspan's ship has overgrown the tiny little rudder and there aren't many lifeboats around.

Good luck and God bless,
bobby
