Here is Joe's response about Ambilight. I sent him my post and this was the reply.

Ambilight it's one of those companies that has promised so much yet seems to have trouble meeting the automotive durability and performance requirements that SPD has passed in tens of thousands of cars.

Some automakers have specked in Ambilight only to take it out prior to production.

I don't know if you had a chance to listen to Thursday's conference call but I noted that we have multiple OEMs in the process of putting SPD in their vehicles, and Ferrari is expanding their use of SPD already

Kindest personal regards,

Joe

There's a good discussion on the Gauzy CC starting at the 37:00 mark and the specific question about whether the 50,000 cars were using PDLC or SPD was asked at 38:47 and then Eyal answered. He said something at the end of his answer that was interesting: "It's a special auto-grade LC product. There are other features to this that are very interesting that I cannot disclose at this point but once we announce, the OEM itself will disclose the details."

There was more good discussion after EP's LC answer about those 50,000 cars, as well as on Ferrari and it basically being standard feature now rather than an option because of the high take rates. That discussion ended at the 41:00 minute mark. So if you listen to anything, that four minutes from 37 to 41 is very good.

There was also a good discussion after a question about auto demand that went from 22:50 to 25:34.
