Getting close to the home stretch.
I guess you couldn’t say that it was a “good" week, or "so-so". “Bad” … let’s go with “Bad”. But I’m sure this is just a temporary blip. When our next Secretary of the Treasury, Madam Zola channeling the spirit of Milton Friedman, is announced then things will snap right back.
For the week, all indices in the red. The average portfolio dropped -$17k. Only 8 stock choices of the contestants returned a profit for the week, the best of which was SCLP.L, +20%. Trading on the London market might have offered some boost. The only portfolio that invested in SCLP.L was A. J. MULLEN, which turned in the best performance for the week. Alas, they were still bleeding red ink, -$4.8k, which means everyone else dropped more this week.
Even with this drubbing six portfolios are still profitable YTD. There was also no change in the relative order, with the exception of JR_95 popping from ninth to seventh.
