And, the average IQ in Columbia will be 100, as such a score is in comparison to others in the Columbian population. In order to properly compare between countries, the IQ test must sample all countries on an IQ test that meets agreed upon standards of validity. Since nonverbal IQ tests are considered to reduce or eliminate language differences between countries, nonverbal IQ tests are considered to be the best measure for comparison. Academic achievement tests and the SAT are considered to be distinctly different than intelligence tests (although there is a positive correlation, and should not be used to estimate IQ... per apples to oranges comparisons and erroneous interpretation/conclusion.
