LK, "Too much leverage. No benefit to Maxtor. But if forced to speculate how about SEG buying Maxtor? Then SEG can write-off their bleeding desktop ops and Wall St. will raise nary an eyebrow." That would possibly be brilliant, depending on how real Maxtor is. Would fit like a glove. But one never knows what kind of accounting tricks Hyundai pulled for MXTR to show a profit. "Oh we'll just take that little plant investment off you books for you, my little child." Of course, SEG's accountants would probably know the tricks, I would guess.
