Projections do not take into account adjustments. Pundits have been pounding the table on Social Security being insolvent for decades now. I remember as a young man, over 35 years back the same rhetoric.

Let's talk about how US Corporations pay only $.05 ( 5 cents) on every $1.00 taken from Tax receipts into the US Treasury.
Let's talk about how tax cuts are killing our future and allowing the Wealthy to amass more and more wealth at the expense of the middle and lower classes.
Let's talk about Elon Musk, who pays hardly any taxes, and who now will be sucking on Trump's ear offering more ideas on how to cut federal budgets at the expense of the disenfranchised Americans.

You are pushing back on a moot point, imo.
You want to talk about waste and underfunded expense programs within the Office of Budget there is plenty of meat on that bone but leave Social security out of it.
