NBC just called the House for Republicans. It's over. We will have a House, Senate and Supreme Court packed with people trembling at the thought of disobeying the narcissistic sociopath sitting in the Oval Office with complete immunity from prosecution. Sorry Washington, Hamilton, Jefferson, Franklin and Madison. Your idea of a Constitutional democracy did OK for nearly 250 years. Sure, there were some glitches like slavery, the Civil War, the Trail of Tears, universal suffrage and Prohibition, but by and large your system worked. In their ignorance, half of "we the people" voted for a dictatorship. Pity.
