Yeah, but I'm mainly sifting through companies on the AIM/LSE nowadays. Lots of companies going through temporary problems with competent management and a solid underlying business model.

FWIW, the UK (as a market) will never return what the S&P does because of government policy, Brexit, excessive regulation and lack of incentives for entrepreneurs to take any meaningful risks - but every now and then you come across a company that's been wrongly cast aside with the rest of the sector. That's where the opportunity lies. You won't find the next Google or Apple here.

In the US, VFC and PNRG come to mind, but other than that I'm not "excited" by much.
