I used to read it decades ago as well. It went from science to propaganda almost overnight it seems.

I had a subscription (Scientific American) for years back in the early 80's Same here. When they went political, far left political, I got fed up and cancelled my subscription. I subsequently dumped National Geographic and Smithsonian and a few others for the same reason. When they mix politics into science, history, archeology, etc., it's time to look for alternatives.
