Oil is low. Once very rich around 2010, now countries which based their economies on energy have declined in comparison with USA, and America is heading the global 400 richest list like never before. Now 9 out of 10 on that lists top 10 are Americans, only 6 out of 10 at the top of the internet dot com bubble. Nat gas is in the toilet. Russia is developing, not developed country. The GDP per capita, once double US circa 2010, now half US for these oil rich countries All western firms pulled their personnel from Russia because of country risk.
