Yeah, I think you're right, as is Grommit. Just curious. Over time, it definitely should do ok. But to realise those gains you'd have to sacrifice the more obvious opportunities today.

There definitely is a good price to own it (which I cannot seem to work out), but even then I reckon that Mars is the better company with a stronger hold over the market. Shame it's not publicly traded.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think if Hershey's diversified a little into products that aren't prone to inflation, it may make a better company overall. Mars have gone down that route and have seemingly succeeded, but maybe they're a special case.

Just look at those cocoa prices. It's no surprise the stock is down:
