Randy, FWIW, I think this auction is going much higher. We're just getting rolling and I think you'll see a lot of positioning and bluffing by the major players. I don't remember if this has been posted here or not, but the following is a nice summary of the auction: brp.com Only three markets currently in the green (greater than $3.00 per pop); NYC, Denver, and Phoenix. Give me a break, there are many markets more valuable than these (San Francisco, LA, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, DC, etc). I'll bet there is a lot of red (greater than $10 per pop) on that chart before this is over. I would think there is room to go up by a factor of at least five to ten, making an easy $2.5 to $5B auction. Of course at the pace they're moving, it might be months.
