There were problems with power consumption - to address Pravin's question also. But IIRC it was more on the Ponte Vecchio cards, that would have to be clocked higher, operating in a very power inefficient zone, in order to reach promised spec, but there may have been some power capacity and cooling issues that prevented Aurora to be fully powered
