Some of us suspect SR K is a fallen member. I didn’t know him personally, so I have no way of verifying. He was a ardent poster on SI but last posted July 9th. I always thought he was somewhat a loner, so it may make sense that no one reported on him here.

Hi AG,

I have looked for and never found a missing SI person:'

Joan Osland Graffius

Her last posts were in July of 2017.

She was a sweet elder woman would had grown up on a large farm - in the Dakotas.

Her nephew was running the farm in Dakota in the summer and another farm in Texas during the winter.

She spoke as if she was of means and yet of a very old-fashioned conservative view.

She spoke of her grandfather who stored his wealth in a corn silo. When funds were needed for a new tractor,
he'd send some corn in storage to the market.

I enjoyed her views and memories as they reminded me of my mother's memories of that post-depression time period.

Any help in adding her to the "Ad Astra" thread would be fitting IMHO.

Thank You in Advance.

Bob
