These are kids who are smart and do well in school. I know because I taught them and worked as a high school math teacher in the worst ghetto in the United States in the mid 1980s. This program has been in effect since 2017-2018 and has been a rousing success. I also volunteered to privately tutor these kids for free in libraries throughout NYC so I do know what I am talking about.
