TSO: So you are not going to buy my clarifications to those posts where I said that LSI's gate arrays are more "value-added" than traditional gate arrays?

In effect this means the bad company(a)'s chips are really becoming more and more like company(b)'s type chips.

How much similar or disimilar I don't know.

Also what about the big product introduction ramps? These chips:

DCAM, DVD, GSM, FibreChannel-related, CDMA are going to generate oodles of revenue for LSI.

Heck these alone may be enough to take up substantial capacity in the new Gresham fab (or more correctly the initial phases of the Gresham fab)!

But I will grant you this: LSI's stock is kind of in limbo. Either this is just a "normal" pattern (UP on high volume, LOW on down volume) and the stock is ready to resume going up OR LSI is ready to slip slide away for total lack of interest!

I'm just not so sure you should have done the full monty and dumped virtually everything!
