ROFLOL! I also find that the ISP one uses has a lot to do with throughput. I think during our recent storms, our Californi-based ISPs and phone companies have had other fish to fry, and connections have been quite horrid, much like the little girl with the curl in the center of her forehead.

BTW, I currently have the birthdate/event site, SI, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium site--complete with the time-delayed graphics--loaded and running well. No complaints at all. Go figure.

News Update: No further news to report on the "spill" in the Carquinez Straits, but stay tuned.
