I hope not a buyout. I mean, we employees would all be toast. I don't own enough shares to be able to retire. Mentor Graphics (rumor has it; I was not at Analogy at the time) has tried to buy Analogy on more than one occasion and gave up. Of course, Mentor's star (and stock) has totally fallen since the glory days of the late 80's, and they've never really been able to do anything positive for any company they've acquired anyway, so this is a good thing (that they did not buy Analogy).
