What may be happening is that some burnt people cover but new shorts jump in only to get scared and leave... Net short interest ,ay rightly be still very high. Another reason is the market. If you look around there is a lot of stocks, particularly attractive shorts with valuations so irrational that any one with the guts and money to make it through the storm should make out like a bandit [I hope]! Pancho
