The American Civil War put America off wars for a long time.

There was the Spanish war, that got started after the Maine blew up.

America was tricked into WW1 by the Lusitania and the Newspapers of the period stoking up the public into war with Germany saving Britain and France from defeat.

Experience with WW1 again made most Americans anti war while Elites of the interwar years powered up Nazi Germany.

To get America into WW2 a stunt needed to be pulled, a similar effect as the Lusitania. An "outrage" to get Americans emotionally fired up for war.

It's an old trick and probably still being used today.

Can't help noticing Netanyahu has has a permanent smirk on his face since October 7th 2023. I guess he is just happy that he isn't in jail, where he would be if the recent war had not started.

Just like the DNA of Palestinians and Israelis being nearer to each other than other races, Hamas and Israel seem to have some common threads. The son of the founding leader works for Israel, must be just a coincidence.

Therefore I am wary of "outrages" as being used as a device for war, and even more wary of those who seek to promote wars.

Goering did everyone a favour by clarifying the subject and the process of getting wars started.
