Luc-

What I don't like with PC users is the way they consider Mac users

I agree. Most PC users haven't been on a state of the art Mac System, have no idea what they are talking about.

They don't do graphic work. If they had to handle hundreds of graphic files, or work with movies on their computer (as I do), they would see it differently. Each job has the best tool.

Just bought a new HP Pavilion yesterday (great deal- 200mhz, 4 gig drive, enhanced video card, 56k modem, 32 megs memory, $799). It's the kind of machine she needs for her work as a lawyer. Word processing programs for the PC are better than those for the mac.

So hang on to your 6400. It's a great machine for $900. Those who will rave about windows 98 will never know that most it was standard on a macintosh 7 or 8 years ago. And there are a lot of things apple still does best.

And as I write you this on a mac, I feel no conflict in owning thousands of shares of compaq. Apple will be around for a long time, but in the near future and I doubt it will make much money.
