You must have never have been to March Point let alone Anacortes. It's very low lying land where the crude oil refinery is located. To the right of it's location is the Swinomish Channel en.wikipedia.org Virtually no protection for Cap Sante except for its low lying rock breakwater. I've gone by it hundreds and hundreds of times going and coming back to La Conner (Port of Skagit County Marina) since 1978. That marina is actually pretty well wind protected from all directions. You are just full of BS.
