To All:

Any comments regarding Steve Rubakh's post(#11822). Especially the last section....."A third party is likely to have little or no knowledge of the application......Ulrich maintains that the test team....are best assembled and managed on site. Consultants can help, but they can't take on the responsibility or the liability of testing."

Does this pertain to embedded systems, or are they referring "only" to "software factories" problems with the year 2000 remediation?

If it does pertain to embedded systems, is Ulrich accurate in his appraisal of the situation? If he is accurate in his appraisal, how does it impact TAVA's solution.

Thanks in advance to your response.

Sincerely (er "humbly")

Tony B
