Bonefish,
Linda was on the board of education in Connecticut.
She joined because of her status as an "outsider" and served for just over a year.

There doesn't seem to be anything remarkable about her tenure on the board.

Let's face it, Trump nominated her not because of her credentials in public education, but because it'd be "cool" to have a professional wrestling mogul in charge of demolishing the DoE.
