$SOX Seasonality shows how well your MU trade should work out based on how semiconductors have traded over the last 5 years. I see a lot of the talking heads saying that software is the place to be as money has been rotating out of semi's and into software.



Bottom line the market cannot rise without semiconductors rising. Semiconductors must lead this next advance or the whole market will crumble. We are at a rubber meets the road point right now.

November is typically one of the absolute best months for the SMH/$SOX. Right now, even today the SMH/$SOX is not doing enough heavy lifting but it is looking better. The IGV is overbought but not the SMH:



Which looks like it has more room to run? I am betting on semiconductors even though I will be happy to see software move higher as well:
