The election does not take into account many Democrats will vote for an old yellow dog rather than voting for a non-Democrat.

Even then, he still didn't match the votes of his other opponents. Now granted, he had killed off a lot of his supporters during the pandemic, but the population still grew. So, larger population, fewer voters voting.

The only way Republicans can win is through voter suppression. Which they will explain to you is not cheating.
