I'm certain that neither Ed McC nor Jim would appreciate a "tell-all "story of the first 6 years of SGI. For the rest of us it was a great experience. How about a few teasers - did you know that Dave Barram who is now the head of GSA in Washington and was previously the Assist Sec. of Commerce under Ron Brown was the second SGI CFO? He left (with a push)in 1985.The first CFO was Jerry Richardson who lasted 4 months. Did you know that Don McKinney (Founder, Chairman and CEO of INSS) was our first VP Sales and Marketing. He worked his buns off for SGI but Jim remained his antagonist for the entire four+ years that Don was at SGI. I'll save the juicy stuff (Monica-like) for a book.
