Some random thoughts about the number of Border Patrol agents: a) According to his supporters, Trump's failures during his first term are all explained by the handcuffs his subordinates slapped on him. Those handcuffs are off now, so Trump now has more freedom to "mobilize" more agents to the border. b) If Trump even had a "concept of a plan" when it came to the border, he'd learn from the war in Ukraine and ramp up the use of drones for surveillance. That in itself can alleviate some of the personnel requirements. Of course, Trump supporters aren't even thinking about the implementation specifics. All they want to do is pretend that Trump is "Judge Dredd." Tenchusatsu
