I've been traveling to Vietnam for about 22 years. Every time we are in Hanoi, we go to a favorite spot in Hanoi where there is a school. At lunch time the kids used to be active, playing soccer and other games, They were very lean and fit. Close by, KFC, McDonald's and other US based fast food chains have opened up....and now at lunch there is virtually no activity beyond sitting and eating junk food. It's incredible how pudgy and unfit they have generally gotten.
