Yes, technically they can short! However, the drop like this Friday could be "Option Related"!! So Monday, the stock can react to the upside. Shorts can short this stock, of course. If it continues going up back to 21-22 range, the shorts need to buy back those shorted shares which help the stock going higher.

SirAlexx...I'm sure I speak not just for myself, but for this entire thread, when I warmly thank you for your optimism about TRMB. I'm certain that the money you make shorting TRMB at 19 will allow you to increase your holdings in real winners like FTRK. It's a good thing I sold my March calls on Thursday when TRMB was at 21. Now I have more money to put into shorting TRMB...and maybe I'll even dabble in some FTRK :)
