Moreover, PooTin will want something more than just a promise that Ukraine will not join NATO. I think I specifically said " Probably move Russian forces and lines back to what they asked for before Brandon OK'd the invasion" Not back to 2022, Ukraine and Russia had already negotiated new lines before the invasion seeding some territory to Russia. They give up the extra gains, keep what they asked for and no NATO - for awhile.
