I think a decade or more ago Maurice provided "proof" that it was all sunspots and that the next ice age was going to come with the next solar cycle. The sun was "going out" IIRC was his prediction! He may have been correct, because the Sun is assuredly absent today at my place, its migrated to the South for some reason and it seems like an ice age is in fact coming. Wouldn't surprise me if it snows shortly! Only a few months ago it was sunny and hot here!
