Yes, and that why the founding fathers made the House of representatives the dominate power controlling the purse strings. But Trump has plans to skirt ALL of congress, so he can be the soul power and authority. <Message #311741 from Cautious_Optimist at 11/25/2024 8:31:42 PM Exactly what Abraham Lincoln meant by "... government of the people, by the people, FOR the people..." in the Gettysburg address. What is the point of government, isn't it to help the people?

I wrote yesterday morning about how I thought Trump was consolidating his power to effect an autocracy by installing loyal criminals at every juncture of power.

He will go on a rampage to fire everyone he can that would oppose him and install his loyal criminal friends.

And he will do it even where the law? says they can't be fired like the FBI and the fed. He will do it and who will tell him he can't?

And he is going to do this a lot. Push the law where he thinks there is no force to oppose him. This is going to tatter and shred the rule of law, which just makes him even more powerful.

And he will intimidate any power that can oppose him like the news media.

Last night Rachel Maddow said exactly the same thing. Video below.

It was not a coincidence, and I did not get my ideas from her, it is there to see for anyone looking.

Trump is so confident he has total power that he is working out in the OPEN to subsume all the power in government into his own hands.
