Miraje, Thank the late Senator Harry Reid (D- NV) for foisting a bunch of expensive and uneconomic greenie "energy" plants all over the Nevada desert. What other "expensive and uneconomic greenie energy plants" did Reid foist that compared to Crescent Dunes? Because AFAIK, Crescent Dunes is the only one that is based on mirrors heating a molten salt core. That technology had promise but turned out to be woefully unviable compared to PV cells. Tenchusatsu
